BIOBUILD Development Ltd. has started piling of its new residential project, Noor Vista, at Sector 12 in Jolshiri Abashon, the company confirmed. The project is Biobuild’s 19th, extending the developer’s growing footprint in one of Dhaka’s fastest expanding planned townships.
With the start of piling, Noor Vista moves from planning into construction. The company said the project reflects its continued focus on Jolshiri Abashon, where it has concentrated much of its recent development.

Jolshiri Abashon is a large, army planned township of around 2,100 acres in Rupganj, on the eastern edge of the Dhaka metropolitan area, between the Balu River to the west and the Shitalakshya to the east. Organised into 17 sectors, the township is planned as a low density, modern community, with close to half of its land set aside for lakes, parks, and open space, and with underground utilities for power, water, sewerage, firefighting, and communications.
The area connects to central Dhaka through the 300 feet Purbachal link road and the 150 feet Madani Avenue, placing the city centre within roughly 20 to 30 minutes in normal traffic. It sits about 7 kilometres from the Kuril Flyover, which keeps the airport and the northern business districts within practical reach.
Those features have made Jolshiri one of the more sought after planned addresses on the eastern side of Dhaka, drawing both end users looking for organised, low density living and investors attracted by entry prices below prime central areas and the prospect of long term growth as the township matures.
The launch of Noor Vista comes as development continues to push eastward, with Jolshiri Abashon and the neighbouring Purbachal New Town anchoring much of the activity. As land in central Dhaka grows scarce and congested, planned townships on the eastern fringe have become the focus for new residential supply, supported by improving road connectivity along the Purbachal corridor.
